UK artist Ben Mosley has been capturing every detail of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games inside the Team GB medal moments studio in an incredible mural that celebrates Team GB on every day of the Games. We are offering a unique, limited edition, digital NFT of his painting of the Closing Ceremony in collaboration with Ben Sherman, the opening and closing ceremony uniform suppliers. Featured within the painting you will see the subtle lions head detail on the sleeve that athletes proudly wore at the Closing Ceremony in Tokyo.

From Ben:

”I created this final piece in celebration of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, inspired by the closing ceremony and the return of our Team GB athletes back to British shores. The games has been a tremendous sporting spectacle for the nation, seeing Team GB achieve an outstanding 65 medals from the 376 athlete team. The Olympics has brought people together in celebration, from all different walks of life. Throughout the creation of the medal moments mural, I've been able to see and feel - first hand - that the sporting achievements have really given the nation renewed hope and inspiration, on a daily basis. This has been particularly notable, after a difficult couple of years for everyone. I wanted to celebrate the renewed friendship and closeness between Japan and Great Britain, displaying the athletes from both nations climbing Mount Fuji - and shaking hands at the summit - before the Team GB athletes descend and return home. The athletes are being flown home on origami cranes - a further hat tip to our gracious hosts - whilst wearing the distinctive Ben Sherman outfits, worn by our athletes during the closing ceremony. In Japanese culture, the crane represents happiness and peace, two prominent attributes that have been proudly displayed by all nations, throughout the games. The origami cranes mirror the colours of the olympic rings, with the three descending cranes in the foreground representing the gold, silver and bronze medal haul won by Team GB. Big Ben is seen in the background, with hands pointing to 6 minutes past 5, a further nod to the medal winning achievements of the team. In the foreground an athlete leaps into a jubilant crowd, symbolising the return of the team to the adoring British public; being wholly accepted and brought together as one".

Only 20 NFTs are being minted of this special moment, a rare collectable moment from the Games. Support the Team and own a piece of British athletic history.
